2026 Spring Cleaning Event - Westernville Cemetery!

Join us for the 2026 Caring for Your Cemetery Day spring cleanup. Volunteers will help with light tasks such as removing debris, clearing overgrowth, removing old seasonal decorations, planting, and general grounds tidying. Stewart’s is generously providing drinks and donuts for volunteers.

This event is part of the New York State Division of Cemeteries’ third annual statewide effort to support and preserve local burial grounds. What to bring: sturdy shoes, weather‑appropriate clothing, gloves, tools, and a reusable water bottle if you prefer. Some tools may be provided for light tasks; volunteers without tools are welcome.
